Religious practice

Religious practices occupy a special value in my life as they provide spiritual nourishment to the soul sans which our conscience, our scruples would be dead. They prevent us from falling a prey to the temptations of Satan , the devil and guide us to a path of goodness . Personally , I feel that these practices should not be conducted as mere rituals but as spiritual ways for self-improvement as GOOD MUSLIMS . I consider myself religiously inclined but not fanatical or orthodox at all in my oulook . I try to fulfil all obligatory duties of a Muslim as far as possible in moderation , if time permits me . I am a working woman, bogged down with work which leaves me with little time to perform obligatory duties on a regular basis but that in no way , means I am not a good Muslim because I attach a lot of importance to how far we put into practice the teachings of our faith . A good upbringing and life's experiences have enabled me to build a - near- flawless character , of which I pride myself . I firmly believe that leading a moral life and abstaining from sins , in accordance with an ethical code of conduct , is equally important .In my home country in India , we practise azadari activities in our azakhana and imambargah with full religious fervour.We are true azaadaars at heart. To sum up , religious practices for me are means of preparation for "akhiraat ".They are instrumental in keeping me to the RIGHTEOUS PATH of Islam . I expect my partner too to be a practising Muslim rather than just indulging in religious duties as rituals . I wish my future spouse to have similar religious inclinations .

My partner preferences

What do I expect from my partner ? ...... is a question I often ponder upon. Well ! it's impossible to meet Mr.PERFECT as no one's born perfect but there's no harm in asking for what Iam seeking in my partner . All I beseech ALLAH is to grant me a good person to have a future with , to lay the bricks of a sweet home , to experience this wonderful journey .....LIFE . Iam really impressed by a man who is family-oriented , has honest ways and is of a trustworthy and responsible nature. The most important quality that Iam seeking in my spouse is a GOOD CHARACTER for I verily believe "Character is destiny . " I expect my partner to be steadfast to me in this short journey of life.......a man who will never desert me for another woman but will be my loyal companion till death does us apart . Iam desirous of meeting a man who has received good-breeding and education , is decent and religious-minded but not of a fanatical or extremist nature , for such people develop an intolerant attitude and an orthodox mind . I really admire a man who possesses strong moral beliefs and moral standards of behavior .I'd definitely prefer a man of a compassionate , caring, loving and understanding nature with a clue to emotionality and nurturing .....he who will create a secure home ambience and who treats women respectfully .I'd rather avoid arrogant , snobbish and ego-centric men who consider women as inferiors and slaves to men for I fear egoism can wreck marital relationships . Iam still on the look out for a GENUINE person who is sincere in intentions and actions and who holds a balanced outlook on life . Ideally, I'd prefer a man who has imbibed the good of both the eastern and the western worlds .

To sing my own praises would sound like bragging but I'll just acquaint you about myself in a gist. Please allow me to portray myself as a fairly-educated person who has taken masters in English and a bachelor's degree in education . As I was convent-bred , so I think I am a good blend of both eastern and western cultures .... neither too traditional nor too liberal , but I have cultivated a balanced bent of mind . I see myself as a good - natured person with strong moral and family values . I am not exaggerating to say that I am honest, sincere and a reliable person.....You'll discover it yourself! I do not like to indulge in self-praise but I am here giving you a true picture of my personality traits. Of course , Iam far from perfection being a human-being , but I do try to better myself as an individual. Admittedly , good looks are important for attraction , so I will accept contacts from those who are handsome-looking. Only those whose intentions are serious , have a right to ask for my picture . I try to live life in moderation , striking a balance between my religious beliefs and worldly affairs .I'm a person of straight-forward ways and I hate lies and deception ( God save me from the sins of this world! ) . Bearing in mind ,the Islamic concepts of HEAVEN and HELL, I try to live my life as a good Muslim, following what Shiasm demands of us . 'Women of purity deserve to belong to men of purity .' That's me !
