Religious practice

My brother observes all his waajibat, and tries his best to do whatever additional he can do. He is a very practical person and tries to practice on the true Principles of Islam. His expectation from his spouse would that she also observe all her wajibaat, and try to establish a practical perspective of Islam, and tries her best to follow her Islamic duties at every stage of life (daughter, wife, mother etc.)

My brother prefers a girl who is always trying to attain closeness to Allah (swt) by her every day actions weather that be studying, helping someone or taking care of herself or others. A goal is very important for everyone to have, and thus, he prefers someone who is driven by a goal. Preferred qualities are: positive attitude, pleasant demeanor, kind, genuine in her actions and flexible. By flexible personality, I mean anyone who is able to adjust into any environment (as Allah can put one into any situation at any time,and flexibility is an important quality for everyone to have). In sum, an ideal match for my brother would be someone who strives to follow the footsteps of Bibi Fatema (a.s) in every role of life (daughter, wife, mother etc.)

More about me

My brother, as mentioned, is practical, and follows Islam's laws practically. As a husband, he knows his duty to provide for his wife and family and all other duties required from him as a Husband. He would like to observe his duties as a husband in accordance to Islam, and thus, would like a wife who knows her duties Islamically as well. Moreover, he does not agree with western principles of a Dual-Income Household and wishes for a wife who believes in a family system where the mother does not have such a great role in working outside (especially if finances are not an issue at all), but rather spends her time doing other activities which she enjoys. Basically, he does not agree with the concept of Feminism and women empowerment by working. Yes, women should educate themselves to high extents, but not for the purpose of getting good jobs, and making money (unless there is a need, ofcourse). My brother is a very easy going person, who enjoys playing sports, watching sports, hanging out with family and friends, eating good food and attending Mosque events. He is up to date on current events. He will be a good marriage partner because he knows his duties as a husband, and I know that any girl who knows her islamic duties as wife, will appreciate this quality! He is also very funny, caring and fun spirited to be around.
