Religious practice

I don't know much because I converted about a year ago, but when I learn something i try hard to put it into practice. I dont pick and choose what to follow. I hear and I obey. So I pray 5 times a day, and try to keep the family tie,and I work to support my family,eat dinner with my family, fast in the month of ramadan,give charity,eat halal, among other things. I have also read the Quran twice.

Honestly I don't expect much. Only 4 things. You must be a woman, that believes in Allah, and in the day of judgment, and does good deeds. I can't ask for more than that,all I can do is be thankful. I don't have much to offer, but if you pick me, then I will begin to EARN your love and affection from day one inshallah. I will be a source of peace and tranquility for you inshallah.

Allah has made me a very kind person,loving and gentle. I like spending time with my family. We play video games together,and watch movies,but mostly we enjoy each others company while we eat. My family would say that I am patient,courageous, and understanding. Also, I know that I should look good for my wife,so I have started to hit the gym, more often, to get into better shape. My parents don't like that I'm Muslim but I still do my best to keep the family tie. I was born and raised in Monterey,Ca. I have been a Christian all my life up until about 2 years ago. I declared myself a Muslim in a Sunni Mosque. A few months after that I was unwelcome there because I became a shia. I used to feed the homeless and others in need until I learned that endeavoring to gain a legitimate source of income is the most noblest form of worship. Alhamdulillah, I now am able to pay for rent, groceries, and other bills. Also, we live in a four-bedroom house which we just leased in November. My culture is grounded in religon. I strive hard to follow the path that Allah has laid out and nothing else. I am who I am because of Allah. Please don't be afraid to ask me any questions. I won't be offended. I will upload more photos by next Friday inshallah. Ready player one, Serendipity, What If, Live Die Repeat, Avatar, and The Man from U.N.C.L.E are some of the movies that I'm able to list, off the top of my head, that I like. I'm also a pretty big HIMYM fan. Never liked Friends but loved Seinfield. Also, my kids and I sometimes watch anime together. But I am very selective of what we watch now. Honestly, the biggest and most important connection we could have is our faith. Although, I'll keep filling out this section out as much as possible inshallah. I don't have any friends, but know a lot of people. I never really got into social platforms like twitter, Facebook or anything. I drifted away from the only friends I had when I became a Muslim. We just didn't have anything in common anymore. Drinking, and gambling was our thing, but we no longer shared that connection, alhamdulillah! Really good story,I played college football. After reading a lot of, wait, A LOT of profiles, I thought that the following would be very valuable information. I do not come from a "good" family. I barely know my family. I'm not a doctor. I work 7 days a week and am struggling to provide for my family. I don't travel because i don't have money to save for such an event .and if I did, I would do hajj. We don't eat out, cause I cook better then anybody in town and it costs MUCH MUCH less. And when we eat we know it's Halal.
