I was born and raised in Saudi Arabia, moved to Lahore for my undergraduate and then to the USA for graduate studies (a year ago). We are 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Each of us either already has a master's degree or on the track to get one. My mother teaches English Literature at a Saudi university and father heads his construction business there. I like to keep in touch with international politics and the tech world, and occasionally play squash. I'll be graduating with my Masters in Robotics Engg. next year and plan to work for companies involved in prototyping and programming robotic systems (commercial drones, industrial robotic arms, autonomous cars). Family and relatives mean a great deal to me and I visit Pakistan & Saudi Arabia every year. One of my longterm goals is to initiate a social startup to empower and educate the underprivilaged in Pakistan.
