Religious practice

I'm a moderately religious person. I offer Namaaz on most of the days, missing out while not in town. I visit my hometown for few days during Moharram and attend Majlis' whenever possible. I expect a lady to be similarly oriented. I understand that for person on a job doesn't have liberties to be so much into religious activities. Still, I wish the person to be helping me out during Nazr and Majlis that happen at my place in Lucknow, when I visit for the same taking leave from work.

My partner preferences

My family and I are looking for someone who can manage family and her career both. We respect the girl's decision to be working after marriage and we prefer the same. From my point of view, the girl should be charming. It's okay if she talks a lot, even I do. However, I wish that she should be soft spoken and should offer proper respect to my parents. I'm also looking for someone who could befriend my sister, she has always been looking for a best friend for herself.

More about me

I belong to a respected family of Lucknow. I have a family of four. My father is a retired advocate from High Court, Lucknow. My mother has been working as a lecturer in a Govt. Girls' Inter college in Lucknow. She will be retiring from her job in April'19. I have a younger sister (unmarried) who has done B.Ed. and soon be working. I'm a Research Scholar in Dept. of Chemical Engineering at IIT Delhi. Inshallah I would be completing my PhD by mid of 2020. I currently work for a project by Shell Oil Company, Netherlands. The career prospects could be in academia or R&D depending upon the prevalent scenario. Though being Syed, neither do I nor my family has any objection in getting alliance from non-Syed. However, we have small request that we would like to be in talks if your family is planning to tie-knot by end of 2019 or later. Rest can be discussed later over telephonic conversation with me or my family. Thank You
