Religious practice

Although I would not label myself as pious, I try my best to be religious and follow the deen by not only fulfilling daily wajibaat but also by attempting to recognize and improve upon the religious flaws I have.I also have an interest in not just reading but understanding Islamic holy texts and narrations.

Salam, My name is Ali, and I'm a junior at University. I am currently a Biology major, with the goal of applying to medical school. This year, I am doing research in Brain imaging and it's implications in Anxiety/Depression. One of my favorite hobbies is traveling. I've been to Michigan, Dubai, Canada, and Iraq for Ziyarah.
