Religion is very private. I am still learning. I would want a partner that would grow together in religion
I am looking for someone who understands the importance of consistent communication with a partner. A man who is sure about himself and would have the guts to tell me exactly how he feels without any games. A GSOH is the most important thing. It makes it easier to laugh through life's challenges don't you think? Its an added bonus if he has the same interests but I have found myself drawn to new experiences. A guy that can hold his own in terms of conversation and can respectfully discuss various topics. I would prefer a a good personality over drop dead gorgeous looks any day. I would want someone who has religion in his life at least as a part of his moral compass. Something that he could pass on to his children. Someone who would live in the moment but plan for the future.
This is the weirdest feeling trying to put oneself in a box. It takes exceptional self awareness to be able to do that. Lets say i am on the road to self awareness. I am divorced and of course subject to a lot of scrutiny as is. So putting my self up here came as a natural next step. I was born and raised in the Middle East so when I moved to Pakistan I was your average Pollyanna. I still find it weird how somethings that are so simple are made complicated by pessimistic outlooks. I am very expressive of my feelings and very protective of my loved ones. People tell me i am witty with a GSOH and possess a creative mind. I like to learn new skills. I like to read and binge watch various American and British series. Since I am a teacher it keeps me well informed of the various trends and jargon that the young adults use and in turn keeps me relatable. I absolutely love to cook and entertain as well. I like going to restaurants, to order something and then try to replicate it in my own kitchen. I enjoy the theatre and stand up comedies and thankfully found various places in Lahore that cater to this. I would like to think I am religious but like many of you out there i struggle with my Namaz and various other expectations. I am a Hijabi. Got there on my own and think of it as an act of empowerment than oppression. I have a modern mind wrapped up in a headscarf if you will. Sometimes my appearance becomes a contradiction with my beliefs. I am a romantic at heart and enjoy witty and deep conversations. I try to be open and expressive so that I don't keep my partner guessing of what i am actually feeling.
