Religious practice

Moderately Religious- wears hijab regularly but does take it off at family weddings at sometimes. Expectation is of a moderately religious other half who eats halal, does not drink alcohol and preferentially non smoker. Someone who is willing to learn more about the religion and grow with her.

My partner preferences

We are looking for someone for our daughter who is a Shia Syed, who is well educated- university level at least preferentially in the medical field however not necessarily. He should be someone who is kind and understanding. He should cares for and respects our daughter and allow her to fulfill her aspirations. He should be from respectable family and be honest and responsible person. We would ideally prefer someone who has grown up in the west or at least currently living in the west.

More about me

We are small close knit family living in England. We have some family here in England and some in Pakistan. My daughter was born in Pakistan however has gone to high school, college and university here. She has a BSc from Queen Mary and MBBS from Barts Medical School, University of London. She is going to start training to become a GP. Even though she has been brought up in UK she has been brought up with eastern cultural values and the teaching of Ahlebayt. Our daughter is polite with a bubbly personality who is humble, respectful and is a kind hearted individual. She loves her job as a doctor as she thoroughly enjoys looking after those in need. She is a family orientated individual with a close circle of friends. She enjoys trying new things, going out for dinners and wants to travel and explore the world. We are looking for someone who has similar aspirations, who would encourage to grow and learn both religiously and academically.
