Religious practice

I'm a practicing shia ithna asheri and feel truly blessed about it. I've gained islamic education since a kid and IÂ’d like to believe that I've fashioned my life within the tenants of Islam. Of course there is always room for improvement and In sha Allah, may Allah grant me the taufiq to increase my levels of spirituality. At the same time, i'm not a fanatic and as Islam is the religion of moderation, IÂ’m adept to the ways of the world and hold a modern outlook towards life as well.

My partner preferences

My priority in seeking an alliance is based on the fact that the person I would want to live my life with has to be someone who can strike a balance between religion and the world. A person who knows how to enjoy life within the precincts of Islam and also has his eye trained on the results of the hereafter. I believe a man (being the chieftain of his family) plays an important role in forging the atmosphere at home and if he has his priorities in life sorted; it paves the road for a smooth, frolicking, productive life both in this world and hereafter. Alhamdulillah, despite the odds I've faced in life. I'm living it fruitfully. I've graduated in a professional paramedical degree and currently pursuing masters in a health related stream. I'm inclined towards reading and writing and by the grace of Allah; my work entails a lot of each. Books are my solace and I love to read different kind of genres because they open up new avenues, perspectives and horizons. I hold interests in many other things and indulge in volunteering work as well. But more on that later.
