Religious practice

Salaamun Alaikum, it's not so easy to describe religious practice because there are always room for improvement in that area in life. I fast during the Holy Month, pray daily, follow taqleed, eat halal, perform wajibat and wear hijab. I absolutely LOVE attending Islamic camps, seminars and programs. Ultimately, inshaAllah I will continue to grow , learn and improve more on my spiritual journey.

I'm new to this world online and sometimes I've noticed that profiles can seem to be similar to a grocery list of wants and don't wants. Has balanced views on religion, spirituality and life. Who enjoys humor and has a very positive outlook. A man who enjoys being healthy and active, and enjoys trying new things. The kind of guy who does not want a wife only just to be married , but instead is looking for a lifelong friend and partner and comes from an accepting family. Traditional Islamic values yet still contemporary, if that makes sense(sorry I'm a millennial after all :) Most importantly, must be loyal, honest, treats people of all kinds with respect, loving towards his wife and family, and above all a lover of Ahlul-Bayt. Hmm, that started to become a list... I apologize. This profile writing is a lot harder than it looks :) Oh plus, a nice beard and warm smile goes a long way ;)

I grew up mostly in the US. I'm very blessed to have been born and raised Muslim in a large family. I like meeting new people and diving into different cultures. Would love to travel more often. I'm shy at first, but usually do not take long to open up in the right situations. I like to read and learn new things, live a healthy lifestyle, eat healthy( most of the time because dessert happens:) like to bake, very creative, and artistic. Ok, actually I LOVE arts and crafts. Sometimes can be found hidden under a pile of glitter and buttons. If you're willing to risk getting covered in sparkles to dig me out that's a bonus point in your direction! I'm very feminine and youthful. I enjoy having fun and going to movies and spending time with friends or spending time at home with my family. I respect a lot of traditional values that sometimes it seems now days in our society tend to get overlooked. I like to think of myself as modern/ contemporary yet, traditional . :) I'm extremely loyal. Marriage is more about what you bring and give rather than take. If both people come together with the intention to be giving and nurturing their garden will flourish. Looking for someone to help push and support me towards my goals and self improvement.
