Religious practice

I pray 5 times a day. Sometimes more. I'm still learning about islam. I can't fast due to diabetes. I wear hijab all the time. I want a pious husband who will lead prayers at home. I consider myself shi'a because of my understanding of the history. I don't really know much more. I learned to pray from a book I got at a sunni mosque. I had to choose a shi'a sect on here but I honestly don't know enough to know the difference.

My partner preferences

I want a man who will be a spiritual leader. Not overbearing but a guide. Someone who is tolerant and easy going, with a sense of humor. If he can cook, all the better, as I don't always have consistent results, lol.

I'm shy at first but will talk a lot and be funny once I warm up to you. I tend to get stressed easily so I need someone with patience and understanding. I used to sew and want to do so again. I love all the new Muslim hip-hop artists, don't care for country music. I'm a cat mom. Love dogs as Allah's creatures but otherwise not a huge fan. I would like to go to the mosque often. The only one around me is sunni. I want an affectionate husband who makes me feel loved and secure. I cannot have any more children. I have some health issues, nobody's perfect. I was a certified teacher, however that's expired now. My new interest is Real Estate. I would like the option to work full-time, part-time or be a stay-at-home wife. Ideally, I'd like to be a stay-at-home wife while studying for my real estate license. I also have an interest in working from home online. I've worked in the cell phone industry for about 8 years. I like technology and gadgets. On the side, I earn a little money helping people with their cell phones, tablets, laptops, printers and router/wifi connections. On TV, I like Sci-fi mostly. Some police, detective shows. Even a little anime from time to time if someone else wants to watch it. I don't watch it alone, however :) I read quite a bit. Self-improvement books, religion, a little financial investment, organizing. I read to improve myself in these areas. I speak a little Spanish. I know enough Arabic for my prayers. I know just a few words/phrases in urdu and farsi. I have a brother in his 30s who will need to live with me after our mom is gone, which hopefully will be many years away. He is very intelligent but cannot work. I am a very honest person and I expect the same. I will deactivate my account while talking to a man and I expect the same consideration in return.
