I am always striving to improve my religious practice and knowledge. One of the things I do to help me do so is attend islamic lectures to help deepen my knowledge and meet other people. I also volunteer with an Islamic charity where in my role I need to research and share Islamic information online. This helps me stay motivated religiously throughout the year.

I am always up for a laugh (be warned, I have a sarcastic kind of humour which is dangerous as a teacher!) and will always be willing to put myself forward to try something new because you don't know if you don't try! I enjoy the company of my family and friends as they are very important to me. In my spare time, I enjoy being creative, organising fundraising activities, screen writing, exploring new experiences and playing with my neighbour's cat! These are a few of my favourite things.
