I think being religious should translate into being a good human being. Tolerance , acceptance of other faiths and being open to different views are more important than perfunctory practices. On another note I would not have signed up on ' shiamatch' if I wasn't looking for a shia guy for my sis :)

At first,it was awkward for me to be signing up here, looking for a match for my sis. But, I feel when you are trying to look for the best, all avenues must be explored. My sister is traditional in a good way . She loves to cook, bake, spend time with her family and does a lot of babysitting for her nephews and nieces ! She has always excelled in her studies and currently has done a great job of taking a lead in many presentations and projects as part of her BBA program. She loves watching movies and netflix shows. She plans on visiting me in the US ,this summer, to celebrate her graduation! I am very open minded , and so are our parents about letting the guy and girl talk before getting married, so they can get to know each other a little bit. If the guy meets all our basic requirements,I will be more than happy to introduce him to my sis. Thanks !
