Born and raised in New Jersey, grew up with traditional values and beliefs, so I have good balance of eastern and western cultures. As much as I like to go out with friends and family for a meal or to the movies, I also enjoying staying in and curling up to a good book or watching reruns of Modern Family or The Big Bang Theory. I truly believe laughter is the best medicine and that a spoon full of sugar does help the medicine go down. I love to laugh and love to make other people laugh as well. Family is very important to me and I am very close with not only my parents, but my extended family also. At our gatherings there's always good food and never a dull moment. Traveling is one of my true passions. I love exploring new places and doing unique things in these new places, whether it's rappelling off of waterfalls in Costa Rica or taking a cooking class in Thailand. I?m always willing to try new things and explore new places. Cooking is another passion of mine. I make the traditional Indian meals that my mom made while I was growing up, but I like to try to cook other cuisines.
